The St. Thomas School had its humble beginning in 1986 at Sahibabad in the premises of St. Thomas Orthodox Church. By the immeasurable grace of the Almighty, the St. Thomas Orthodox Church Society could edify a temple of learning at Lajpat Nagar,Sahibabad in a modest way with 79 students and 7 teachers. This is an English Medium co-educational school affiliated to CBSE (vide affiliation no. 2130263) which has carved a niche for itself in the Ghaziabad sector.


The President of the society is His Holiness Baselios Mar Thomas Didimos-I, the Catholicos of the East, and the Vice President is His Grace Job Mar Philoxenos, the Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi. The over all administration of the school is vested in the Governing Board (an elected body constituted by the Society). Which is headed by the Chairman of the School.
